Daily Log is a free, privacy-focused, local-first app for keeping a daily record of your work, activities, study, and thoughts. It exists for one reason: logging your day should be fast, private, and effortless — not another account to manage or another subscription to pay for.
Why we built it
Most daily logs live on loose paper, a cluttered spreadsheet, or a note buried in a phone. They get lost, they are slow to open, and they disappear when you switch tools. We wanted the structure of a great daily log template with the simplicity of a notebook — and none of the friction of signing up for yet another service.
Four focused modes
Daily Log brings together the four things people actually log. The daily work log captures tasks completed, blockers, meetings, and tomorrow’s priorities. The daily activity log times what you do with automatic duration totals. The personal journal is a private space for mood check-ins, gratitude, and reflection. The daily study log tracks subjects and spaced revision dates for learners.
Local-first and private by design
Everything you write is stored locally in your browser using IndexedDB. There is no signup, no account, and no server that receives your entries. The app works offline, autosaves as you type, and lets you clear all data whenever you like. You stay in complete control of your information — read the full privacy policy for details.
Who it is for
Developers, freelancers, remote teams, students, fitness enthusiasts, journalers, and anyone who wants an honest picture of how they spend their time. If you have ever wanted a searchable, permanent timeline of your days, Daily Log is for you.
